How do I invest?

The following products are provided in conjunction with BNP Paribas Securities Services:

• BNP Paribas Electric & General Savings Scheme (ITSS)
  A facility for you to invest either lump sums or regular savings into Electric & General Investment Trust plc. Your shares are managed by the Investment Manager, Taube Hodson Stonex Partners LLP. Unlike ISAs there are no tax benefits associated with this type of investment.

• Individual Savings Account (ISA)
  An ISA is a tax efficient way of investing money, as there is no capital gains tax payable on the profits made in an ISA.

BNP Paribas Securities Services London Branch ("BNP Paribas") incorporated in France with Limited Liability and authorised by the Autorité de Contrôle Prudentiel ("ACP") and authorised and subject to limited regulation by the Financial Services Authority ("FSA") (details of the extent of this authorisation are available on request); a member of the London Stock Exchange.

It is entered onto the FSA register with registration number 206940.

BNP Paribas Securities Services is a wholly owned subsidiary of BNP Paribas S.A. It provides services to investment managers and other financial institutions.

You can subscribe to a BNP Paribas ITSS or ISA by either lump sum or regular direct debit investments. An ISA may be transferred in cash from your existing ISA provider. To invest in one of these products, call 0845 358 1113, 9.00am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday and ask for an application form.
